Meet Prasanth Edassari, our Global Chief Human Resources Officer

Prasanth is the Global Chief Human Resources Officer for House of Shipping and is based in Dubai. He has over 20 years of experience in people management at senior levels along with an MBA in Human Resource Management from Oxford Brookes University UK and is interested in turning around organizations’ bottom lines using people power.
In his current assignment, he heads the global HR portfolio with a team of 12 direct HR and Admin professionals managing Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Employee branding, Change management, Performance management, Talent Management, Rewards & Recognition, Compensation & Benefits, Employee relations & Administration.
Previously, he has worked with organisations like Panasonic Middle East & Africa, Gravity HR & Management consultancy, Cedar Management Consulting International, Johnson Controls, Ernst & Young, NHS, Adecco and RAK National Insurance Company.
In 2022 Prasanth was selected to be featured in Asia’s 100 Power Leaders in HR from UAE. When not working, Prasanth is a keen participant in sports and likes to spend time with his family, travelling and is a keen observer of human nature.
