The claims associate is in charge of evaluating claims in accordance with the companyâ€™s established process, policy requirements, and guidelines. A claims examiner must be able to analyze claims from the initial report to the final determination, as well as interpret and apply laws, rules, and regulations. In addition to recording claim files with notes, evaluations, and decision-making procedures, they must also be able to gather sensitive information and use it covertly and impartially.
