We are proud to announce the appointment of Deepak Varshney as the Managing Director for its Global Shared Centre (GSC). Mr. Varshney, brings over two decades of industry experience to his new role.
In his capacity as Managing Director, Mr. Varshney will spearhead the strategic development of House of Shipping’s Global Shared Centre, positioning it as the epicenter of excellence for various business processes crucial to the company and its customers. The GSC is designed to streamline and consolidate support operations across multiple locations, offering cost-effective solutions, seamless customer service, enhanced operational efficiency, scalability, standardization, and improved service delivery on a global scale.
Before joining House of Shipping, Deepak Varshney served as an Executive Director at GXO Logistics Worldwide (formerly XPO Logistics). His impressive career spans more than 21 years in the outsourcing and offshoring industries, with the last five years dedicated to establishing and managing similar shared services centers. His academic credentials include a Bachelor of Engineering degree and an MBA from the prestigious SIES College of Management Studies. Moreover, Mr. Varshney holds certifications in COPC register coordination (QAI India), Six Sigma Green Belt, and Certified Internal Auditor, underscoring his commitment to quality and efficiency.
